Dans la nuit du 23 au 24 février 2022, la télévision russe diffuse une intervention enregistrée de Vladimir POUTINE qui annonce “le lancement d’une opération militaire spéciale dans le Donbass”.
Opérations militaires
- Plusieurs frappes aériennes et par missiles russes atteignent les infrastructures de défense aérienne et les installations de l’aviation ukrainienne
- Des troupes terrestres russes pénètrent en territoire ukrainien :
- A partir de la Biélorussie, de part et d’autre du Dniepr en direction de Kiev (36ème Armée à l’Ouest, 41ème Armée à l’Est du fleuve)
- A partir de la Russie, au Sud-Ouest de Koursk, la 20ème Armée pousse en direction de Konotop tandis que la 1ère Armée blindée de la Garde se dirige vers Kharkiv à partir de Belgorod
- A partir des républiques séparatistes de Louhansk et du Donetsk avec respectivement les 8ème Armée et 49ème Armée
- A partir de la Crimée annexée en 2014 avec la 58ème Armée et la 22ème Armée en direction de Kherson et du Dniepr ainsi que de Melitopol à l’Est
- En Mer Noire, les Russes s’emparent de l’île des serpents en face de la Roumanie
- Au Nord, la 36ème Armée s’empare du site de l’ancienne centrale de Tchernobyl mais le raid héliporté de la 41ème Armée échoue à s’emparer de l’aéroport de Hostomel, ce qui ne permet pas d’amener des renforts aériens permettant de s’emparer rapidement de Kiev alors que des premiers affrontements se déroulent aux abords de la ville
- Le général Igor KONACHENKOV, porte-parole du ministère de la Défense russe, annonce que les forces armées russes ont mis hors service 74 installations terrestres de l’infrastructure militaire ukrainienne, dont 11 aérodromes, ainsi que trois postes de commandement, une base navale et 18 stations radar des systèmes de défense antimissile S-300 et Buk-M1, un hélicoptère d’attaque et quatre drones Bayraktar TB-2
- En réaction, le président ukrainien Volodymyr ZELENSKY donne l’ordre à ses troupes d’infliger le maximum de pertes aux militaires russes qui envahissent son pays tandis que des appels largement relayés par les réseaux sociaux appellent à la résistance et à la mobilisation générale avec notamment #StopRussia

▪️ In accordance with the decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, on February 24, the Russian Armed Forces started special military operation to protect Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
▪️ In the morning, the people’s militia of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, after hostilities to repel the aggression of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the republics, mobilized and created groupings of troops. At present, they have launched a counteroffensive with fire support of the Russian Armed Forces. They have broken through the front line of the echeloned, well-equipped defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▪️ The grouping of troops of the Donetsk People’s Republic, advancing on Volnovakha, advanced up to 3 kilometers, and the grouping of the Lugansk People’s Republic, advancing in the direction of Shchastia settlement , crossed Seversky Donets and advanced one and a half kilometers. Now Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics troops are fighting and inflicting fire damage to the enemy.
▪️ The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue shelling the peaceful cities of Donbass. There are casualties among the civilian population of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.
▪️ Russian Armed Forces do not carry out any missile, air or artillery strikes on Ukrainian cities.
▪️ The servicemen of the border service of Ukraine did not resist the Russian units.
▪️ Reconnaissance data show that separate units and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are leaving their positions, abandoning their weapons. The positions of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that laid down their arms are not target to strike.
▪️ The Russian Armed Forces high-precision weapons disable only military infrastructure, air defence facilities, military airfields, and aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▪️ We draw attention of the media that the Security Service of Ukraine is preparing and is already implementing provocations according to the well-known patterns of the White Helmets.
▪️ In Ukrainian cities, staged video filming was made with so called “mass casualties” among the civilian population of Ukraine. Prepared videos are distributed through controlled telegram channels and social networks.
▪️ Their goal is to accuse Russia of supposedly non-selectivity and disproportionate strikes to intimidate the civilian population and broadcast on Western TV channels.
▪️ I want to emphasize that the Russian Armed Forces do not strike at the cities of Ukraine. Nothing threatens the civilian population.

▪️ The groupings of DPR and LPR troops continue counter-offensive actions against the AFU units with fire support of the Russian Armed Forces.
Currently, mainly armed nationalist detachments are resisting in the area of hostilities.
The servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces try to evade military clashes and agree on corridors for leaving the operation zone without weapons.
▪️ The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, gave special orders to all unit commanders to treat Ukrainian servicemen with respect.
The order emphasizes, “taking into account the fact that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), unlike the nationalists, took an oath to the Ukrainian people and obeyed orders, treat them with respect. To work out the creation of safe corridors for the exit of Ukrainian servicemen who have laid down their arms from the areas of the operation to their families.”
▪️ Current situation.
The grouping of troops of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), advancing in the direction of the settlement of Volnovakha, advanced to a depth of up to 7 kilometers.
During the fighting, 14 servicemen of AFU surrendered. They will all be released to their families after signing a pledge of renunciation of armed resistance.
The grouping of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the area of Stepovoye settlement, despite the fierce resistance of the nationalist battalions, advanced another kilometer.
▪️Russian military strikes have disabled 74 Ukrainian ground-based military infrastructure facilities. Including 11 airfields of the air force, 3 command posts, a base of the naval forces of Ukraine, as well as 18 radar stations of the S-300 and Buk -M1 anti–aircraft missile defence systems.
A combat helicopter and 4 Bayraktar TB-2 attack unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down.
▪️ I would like to emphasize once again that strikes by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are not carried out either on Ukrainian cities or on social facilities in military garrisons. That is, the houses of officers, residential buildings and barracks, in order to avoid losses among Ukrainian servicemen and their family members.
▪️ In the Russian Aerospace Forces, as a result of an error in piloting techniques, Su-25 attack aircraft crashed.
The pilot ejected safely and is already at the location of his military unit.

▪️ The special military operation continues.
Groups of troops of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics broke through the well-equipped echeloned defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, advanced 6-8 kilometers deep. This was made possible thanks to the fire support of Russian artillery and army aviation.
▪️ All tasks assigned to the groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the day have been completed successfully. The joint use of raiding detachments and airborne troops in the Crimean direction enabled Russian troops to reach the city of Kherson. This made it possible to unblock the North Crimean Canal and restore water supply to the Crimean peninsula.
▪️ In total, as a result of the strikes of the Russian Armed Forces, 83 ground objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine were disabled.
▪️ Since the beginning of the special military operation, two Su-27s, two Su-24s, one helicopter and four Bayraktar TB-2 attack unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been shot down.

Станом на 17:00 24 лютого противник продовжує агресивні дії по всій лінії спільного кордону.
З аеродромів Республіки Беларусь виконує демонстраційні дії вздовж північної ділянки державного кордону.
На Сіверщині противник зупинений по річці Уж в районах Великі Осняки, Рівнопілля, ведеться танковий бій.
Підрозділи першої окремої танкової бригади Збройних Сил України в районі Батурина та на околиці Чернігова зупинили колони броньованої техніки ворога.
Противник зробив спробу висадки тактичного десанту вздовж київського водосховища.
20 вертольотів КА-52 та Мі-8 Російської Федерації висадили десант на аеродромі Гостомель. Ведеться бій.
Національна Гвардія України вступила в бій в районі міста Прип’ять. Противник висадив тактичний десант в Бесарабському та Таврійському операційних районах.
Після невдалої спроби висадки десанту та невдалого ракетного удару ворожий ракетний крейсер “Москва” почав обстріл острова Зміїний.
Змішана колона техніки до 300 одиниць наблизилась до населеного пункту Конотоп. Механізовані підрозділи Збройних Сил України вступили в бій. Війська противника зупинені в районах населених пунктів Грем’яч та Кролевець.
У донецькому оперативному районі захисниками України відновлене положення по всій лінії зіткнення. Ведуться бої в напрямку Маріуполя.
Силами угруповання військ “Південь” організована оборона Мелітополя та ведеться оборонна операція по рубежу населених пунктів Абрикосівка, Рикове, Азов.

The enemy continues the offensive with the support of army aircraft crossing the Ukrainian border in the directions of Armyansk – Kherson, Chaplinka – Kakhovka.
The work of sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Besarabian operational area and in the Black Sea operational zone is noted.
The Allied Forces moved on to a defense operation.
Identified operational groups of troops regrouped and moved to areas of task to effectively repel Russian aggression.
Operational and tactical groups are conducting defensive battles in all directions of the enemy’s advance.

Угруповання Збройних Сил України стійко тримають оборону держави.
У Чернігівській області вдалося зупинити противника.
Важкі бої ведуться на Харківському напрямку та в районі проведення операції Об’єднаних сил, де противник поніс втрати в живій силі та техніці.
Силами наших військ повернено під повний контроль міст МАРІУПОЛЬ та ЩАСТЯ. Знищено не менше 6 літаків, 2-х вертольотів та десятки одиниць броньованої техніки ворога.
Складна ситуація на Херсонському напрямку, проте сили оборони України дають відсіч агресору.
Operational information at 07.00 24.02.2022 of Russian invasion
Today, on 24 of February, at 5.00 AM the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched an intensive shelling of our units on east, delivered missile/bomb strikes on airfields in Boryspil, Ozerne, Kulbakino, Chuhuiv, Kramatorsk, Chornobaivka, as well as on military infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time the aggressor started artillery shelling of the areas and settlements along the state border and administrative boundary with temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
National Defence Forces, using the right for self-defence according to the article 51 of the United Nations Charter are countering with dignity the enemy`s attempts to break through the state border. Situation is controlled. The Russian troops are suffering losses.
In the Joined Forces Operation area 5 aircraft and 2 helicopters of Russian Aerospace Forces were shot, two tanks were damaged, several trucks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation were destroyed.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine gave orders to inflict the maximum losses to the aggressor.
There are no losses among the defenders of Ukraine.
We are on our land and we will not give it up!
